Physical Preparation

The purpose behind strength and conditioning is to physically prepare athletes for competition; ensuring they can perform to the highest level without being limited by a lack of physical fitness.

To achieve this, athletes are given gym and home programs to improve the physical qualities necessary for their respective sport. Athletes undertake a musculoskeletal screening once a year to determine strengths and weaknesses of various muscles within their body.

Rehabilitation programs are provided as a result to compliment athletic development.

Athletes will receive individualised strength and conditioning programs frequently throughout the program to ensure continued improvement.
