The UB WestVic Academy of Sport office is located in room P807 on the first floor of the School of Human Movement and Sport Sciences (HM&SS)at the University of Ballarat: Mt Helen Campus. The School of Human Movement and Sport Sciences has gained a reputation, both nationally and internationally, for the excellence of its various courses and the employability of its graduates.
The school has outstanding sport science laboratories, teaching and research facilities, including an indoor swimming pool / aquatics laboratory, a rehabilitation clinic, gymnasia including a state-of-the-art gymnastics facility, a weight training studio, dance studio, a canoeing lake and sports fields. All of which are available to UB WestVic Academy of Sport members.
Both the University of Ballarat (UB) and HM&SS provide the Academy with an enormous amount of support, both in-kind and financial. Consequently, UB and HM&SS have played a substantial role in the Academy developing into one of the leading regional academies of sport in Australia.
