Carroll recently returned from Spain after competing in the Spanish Table Tennis Para Open. He and regular team mate Sam Von Einem finished the tournament undefeated in the preliminary rounds, and fell agonisingly short in the Gold medal match.
Domonic McKendry represented Victoria in the Kanga Cup Athlete with Disability (AWD) division. In a tri-state competition, McKendry and his team mates competed against teams from NSW and ACT. They unfortunately fell short in the final, going down 2-4 to the NSW side.

Played from 5 – 10 July, the Kanga Cup is the largest International Youth Football Tournament in the Southern Hemisphere. 1991 was the first year of the tournament, with the AWD section of the tournament being introduced in 2012.
Special Olympics Ballarat athletes Kellie Hughes and Keziah Glenane competed in the Bowls and Basketball events respectively at the recent State Games. Held in Bendigo, athletes travelled from across the state to compete in a several sports across the weekend.
Glenane played with the Melbourne Southern region, finishing the tournament with a gold medal. Hughes came 5th in the team events and 3rd in the singles events.
