OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

The WestVic Academy of Sport (WVAS) in partnership with Holy Trinity Lutheran College (HTLC) provides services to 12 students of the school who have been selected as part of the WVAS & HTLC high performance program.
The aim of this program is to provide services to these athletes which they could not otherwise access, therefore completing and complimenting their current coaching, training and competition environments.
The program runs from February to December each year. The Academy management works with the designated staff members’ of the school to deliver the services.

SERVICES INCLUDED

• Musculoskeletal Screening & Home Exercise Program
  
• Strength & Conditioning Program
  
• Access to Strength & Conditioning Training Facilities
  
• Access to Athlete Education/Personal Development Sessions
  
• High Performance Activities (as determined by the school)
  

SELECTION PROCESS

• The WestVic Academy of Sport selection panel will consist of the designated staff members of Holy Trinity Lutheran College (HTLC).
  
• All those wishing to be a part of the WVAS & HTLC program will need to apply through the application process designed by the school.
